# Settled

Settled is a scope creep analysis tool for independent workers and freelancers. It reads a client's request alongside the user's contract or statement of work, determines whether the request is in scope or out of scope, and drafts a professional email response the user can send to their client.

## Who it's for

Settled is built for independent contractors with client agreements: freelance designers, web developers, copywriters, photographers, brand strategists, motion designers, consultants, illustrators, video editors, and UX designers. The primary use case is reactive — a freelancer receives a client message asking for something that may or may not be covered by the existing contract, and needs a fast, clear answer and professional language to respond.

## How it works

The user uploads their contract or statement of work as a document, then pastes the client's request as text. Settled sends both to an AI model that analyzes the request against the contract language and returns one of three verdict states.

## Verdict states

**In Scope** — The requested work is covered by the existing contract. Settled confirms this and optionally drafts a reply acknowledging the request.

**Out of Scope** — The requested work is not covered. Settled identifies the specific clause or language that supports this conclusion and drafts a professional out-of-scope email the user can send to their client.

**Ambiguous** — The contract language is unclear or does not directly address the request. Settled explains the ambiguity and provides options for how the user might respond.

Settled offers two plans:

- **Lifetime deal** — $59 one-time payment. Includes 30 analyses per month, unlimited projects, and all future updates. Available to founding members only (first 200 customers). May be sold out.
- **Monthly subscription** — $9 per month, includes a 14-day free trial. Includes 30 analyses per month and unlimited projects.
